Family Resilience Day

Please note that this event is now postponed until next year (2026).

Exact dates and location to be announced in Autumn.

If you are interested, please put your name on the waiting list by emailing Julie at [email protected]  Having details about kids’ ages and requirements would be very helpful for us to plan this event.

If your child is 14+, you may be interested in attending My Brain My Story in York on 4th October, where our young volunteers are organising activities to create resources for helping with a return to school after encephalitis for schools (teachers and school friends). Please contact Julie on the above email to book a place and/or find out more information.

This event is aimed at families whose child/young adult has been affected by encephalitis.  We will be launching our new reviewed educational resources for primary and secondary school children and aim to develop with the help of young people present at the event, which will include a presentation package for schools and pupils on what it means to return to school after encephalitis.
